Alsea School District would like to invite everyone that qualify to consider being on the School Board.
Applicants must meet all the following criteria to be eligible to become a School Board Member
- 18 years of age or Older
- Citizen of Oregon
- Reside within the boundaries of Alsea School District
- Be a registered voter
- Not disqualified by the constitution of the state from holding civil office (such as having been convicted of a crime)
- Not be an employee of the Alsea School District when appointed.

First day for candidates to file: February 4, 2023
Last day for candidates to file by petition: March 16, 2023
Last day for candidates to file fee: March 16, 2023
Last day to file for County Voters’ Pamphlet: March 20, 2023
Election Day: May 16, 2023
If you win the election your first official date to be on the board will be the second week of July. The first board meeting of the 2023-2024 school year will be July 13, 2023.
