Potential ELA Curriculum Available to Public for Review

Savvas, the comprehensive K-12 English Language Arts (ELA) curriculum called myView Literacy and  myPerspectives proposed for adoption beginning the 2023/24 school year, has entered a review period for a final review cycle before the school board approves purchase and implementation. This state adopted curriculum has unanimously been recommended by the reviewing teacher group. This additional review period is to ensure the district is performing due diligence and spending funds wisely. The purchase of over $100,00 would be made from the existing Student Investment Account (SIA) grant funds specifically designed to provide well-rounded educational experiences.. The curriculum will be available for the public to view at the district conference room during the week of May 15-18. If you would like to view materials, please come between the hours of 8-3 Monday through Friday,  May 15-18. Make sure you stop off at the front desk for a visitor’s badge.
