Free Breakfast and Lunch for All Alsea School Students

September 1, 2022

Dear Parent or Guardian:

We are pleased to inform you that Alsea Charter School will implement a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for School Year 2022-2023.

What does this mean for you and your children?  Great news!

All enrolled students of Alsea Charter School are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2022-2023 school year. No further action is required of you. Your children will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay for meals or submit an application.

If your children attend schools that are not participating in CEP, your household may still need to fill out a confidential meal application or pay for meals.

If you have questions, please contact nutritionservices@corvallis.k12.or.us.

If we can be of any further assistance, please contact …

Sincerely,

Sara Cash,
